I use Walmart SuperTech 20W50 in the summer and 10W40 in the winter. They are about $12/gallon. I can definitely tell you that the M20 loves the 20W50. It is super quiet. I wish I could use that...

hmm...the cat is made of ceramic and coated with precious rare earth metal. I doubt that it can expand that much when warmed up to choke the exhaust.

Just a word of caution...the fuel pump requires gas to lubricate and keep itself cool. If you guys keep running the tank down to empty, your fuel pump will not last. I wonder if this is the reason...
