It's already at $6100 with six days to go. I predict $11,500.

Original paint, no wrecks, no rust, factory 5 speed.

Probably a $7500 car.

My brain still thinks it should be priced at $3500 - $4500...

I agree, it's top out too early and will fizzle. 225k INDICATED miles means it likely has a lot more.

I think that's just standard BaT verbiage. They take a cautious approach (to limit liability), and seem to hedge on everything. If the owner is forthcoming about unknown mileage, it would say TMU (total mileage unknown).

This one's been up only a few hours, and already at $8K. White cars rule.

That white one was on here for sale a few months back. I remember trying to buy his Compo's off him but apparently the line up was huge for those haha

That car had been in an accident and had been straightened with other issues that kept it from selling for a while. None of them have been disclosed.

It seems like swapped cars always go through owners, no?

Woah! That's a potential deal breaker. Are you going to let them know? If I were bidding I'd sure as hell want to know that.

Hmmm...I thumbed through the build thread and didn't see anything about the damage. Someone will have to do some research to find it. I can see that Jackbenny didn't want to directly call it out.

From his build thread... honestly it doesn’t looks that bad and there was some more bondo on the rear valence. when you’re buying a car modified that much you will have stuff like this to either accept as been properly repaired or set a price cap. This isn’t some “investment grade” car

Ya that looks like no big deal. I would consider fixing that just part of the restoration process. The prior FS ad made it sound like there was more damage but maybe he was just being extra cautious.
